What fixed my skin barrier. Moisturizer was just a band aid, niacinamide and panthenol fixed the issue [MISC] | Kr Laser

I have acneic skin, but for a long time I had pretty bad surface dryness. I went through bottles of rich creams, lots of emollients, I layered a hydrating toner, basically- I was watering and greasing up my face. And while that did provide some temporary relief- it never solved the issue.

Until I began using a niacinamide serum. My face stopped being so parched and papery, and I actually stopped using extra moisturizer. Another ingredient I recently started using is panthenol(dexpanthenol). Pop it on, bam- keeps that barrier nice and undisturbed.

Panthenol is actually amazing if you are using harsh treatments, like if you do a drying mask or dermaplan- makes your skin bounce right back!

Edit: I use Bepanten Plus. Its kinda like LRP Cicaplast, but with some added gentle disinfectant. And Geek&Gorgeous niacinamide serum.
