Necessary(?) background information:

I am 19, and I was on azelaic acid for a lot of years up until the beginning of summer where my doctor suggested me to stop for a bit. Keep in mind that my routine up to then was : wash face, put on azelaic acid. It worked, there were barely any marks, only problem was a bit of slight scarring, but no big deal.
During the summer I simply went with cleansing and moisturising(zerobase), until I noticed bumps starting to appear. I now know that these were cysts, and I wasn’t getting them before, so naturally I looked up how to treat textural deformities, so around August 21st I started a the ordinary routine.

This is my current routine,

morning:

Squalane cleanser, azelaic acid 10%.

Evening:

Cleanser, glycolic acid toner, azelaic acid

This is what my skin looks like as of 2 days ago:

I’m troubled on whether I should keep going with this? Or go back to my old routine of just azelaic acid. I was planning on switching to LRP purifying cleanser after squalane ran out . With this routine, bumps have appeared too while using it. The bumps have “burst”/opened after a couple days .
