[Acne] Pimples "distribution" | Kr Laser

Hello. First of all, English is my second language so bear with me.

I am struggling with acne for 3 years now and after trying different routines and products I noticed that my skin is somehow trying to keep maintaining one level of acne on my face. For example, I noticed that after I try to “dry out” one specific pimple with some exfoliant, there are two ways it’s going to work out. Either it doesn’t help at all, or the whole big pimple is going to like completely dissappear, but I’ve got a new big one somewhere else or a couple small ones. So I’ve concluded that somehow my skin keeps the same level of pimples for 3 years now. And it just fascinates me, because for me it seems like the pimple is not going anywhere until the junk underneath moves somewhere else, and I find it quite interesting.

The question is not about a specific routine per se but more about the science behind it. Can some body ELI5 it to me if there’s even a correlation? Or if you have the same experience, share it.

Thanks in advance
